Still out!

Took a small es short 1360 and holding indefinately. See major resistance 1360-1366 on the cash.

Edit, thinking outside the box, added a JUNE cl short at 114.18 and holding as well for a $4.00+ pullback. I will trade the front month against it as I see fit.

Down and out!

Mental health day yesterday and physical health today, do not trade on the mend! Will see if I stop cundering and can get some nourishment back in me for tomorrow.

Mental miscues

I felt a bit out of sort and thought I should just take a mental health day off, always trust your gut. Up $160.80 with a lot of aggravation and a side of stupidity.

Up $397.76. Pulled off the normal strategy of hitting singles but missed badly on grains overnight, kept getting long and knocked out and did not get long today for the ride.

Things are shaping up on all fronts to signal a May selloff but I am not buying, or selling it yet. Another week and a half should sort things out.

Thursday

Another solid day of playing ball. Up $422.84 trading cl and 6e. Have a Good Friday everyone!

Wednesday

I think I am done for the day, made it all shorting which tells me I am trading sideways at best. If you can't fix the brakes, get a louder horn! Up $556.84 all on cl.

Tuesday

I do my best work overnight lately. Up $589.02. Finally got that equity high monkey off my back, not even thinking about it. Hope we get a couple of more good days this week.

Monday

Good day, up $484.14. Traded zs, zw, 6e and cl starting overnight. With Passover starting and a short week the sun may set early on trading this week. I will eat whatever I can kill for the rest of the week.

Friday

I get in this damn limiting frame of mind now that I am well into new equity highs playing it safe and passing on some really good trades and taking others off way too quick. Time to do the opposite to some degree mentally next week. Up $334.46 today. Have a great weekend all!

A little better, traded zs, zc, 6e and cl. Up $303.10.

Wednesday

Well into new equity highs and I was trading scared for some reason. Up $188.88.

Tuesday

I am doing some outside contract work for a buddy of mine and took advantage of the nice weather to make hay on that end. Still took a couple of trades, cl and 6e, up $273.20.

Chipped away singles all day and did better than the Cubbies!

Up $516.20 on cl, 16 cars. Not sexy given the range but reflects my effort as well.

The virginia ham!

Not quite. After a rough start I just wanted to book a green day and took things off and quit once I had it. Given the political situation today I think it is a roll of the dice for the rest of the day and I will sit it out. up $229.88 on 16 cars, es, cl and 6e.

I was trading the big sp in Oct 95 the last time the shutdown occured. It creeped around all day and got slammed down as the shutdown became certain. I did get a nice short in that day, only because I could call straight to the floor and had my broker on the phone out of boredom at the time. Those connections to the floor were priceless, you could call a guy up just to see who was in the pit and when to expect some fireworks. The good old days!

The gift!

The market gave and I grabbed it. Got out of cl position with a $120 loss on the dip this morning. Had an es and 6e short as well overnight, covered 6e 7 ticks from the low for $550 and es 8 ticks from the low for $330. Overall up $688.08 for the day. My luck ran out as I only won $3.00 in last night's powerball and someone in Indaiana took the whole virginia ham home!

That is how I feel about zs, the same postion in zc would of been a bullseye. I sat tight as zs moved against my long and added yesterday morning. My position on cl has been oscilating +/-. Bottom line got $816 on the zs long and still holding cl short.

Monday

Zigged when I should of zaggen and ohhhlallllalllallalla etc etc!

Tried to catch the gap on zs and missed it by less than a cent. Got shot cl mid day and long zs holding both and down $270 as of now. Been +/- greeen but the cl short is the money shot. Shooting for $4.00 down from here on 2 cars.

April 1st.

Up $288 and change on 23 contracts, zc, zs and cl. All the profit was from going long overnight Thurs on zc and cl. Messed around on Friday when I did not need to.
